Coach Screws (also known as lag screws) are large wood screws with tapered stem, large threads and a sharp end point. Coach screws are produced with square head or hex head typically used for timber-metal connections or two timber joints. These Lag screws have plain stem along with a sufficient thread length to be able to join metal pieces to timber.
Bolting Specialist can manufacture these coach screws in zinc plated steel, stainless steel A2, A4, 304, 316, duplex 2205, copper, brass, titanium, etc. DIN 571 and ASME B18.2.1 covers dimension requirements for Coach/Lag Screws.
