This specification covers chemical, mechanical requirements for austenitic grade stainless steel socket set screws (SSS) for imperial sizes between 0.060 through 0.500 inch in two alloy condition, AF and CW. ASTM F880M is a metric companion to this specification cover the same products in metric size from M1.6 to M12. These stainless steel socket set screws are intended for use in applications where general corrosion resistance is required. Bolting Specialist manufactures Socket Set Screws as per ASTM F880 under grades 303, 304, 304L, 316 and 316L primarily. All products are duly tested for chemical, mechanical requirements, threads and dimensions and supplied with EN 10204 Type 3.1 Certification.
